About me!

My name is Orly Lewittes and, not to gloat, but I'm an award-winning screenwriter and comedian. My short film, Bat Zilla, took the grand prize in ScreenCraft's 2024 Short Screenplay Competition, and currently sits in the top 1% of Comedy Shorts on Coverfly. I've also received awards for my feature screenplay, Strut.  I first performed stand up at the age of fourteen, and have since opened for Hacks' Hannah Einbeinder and Meg Stalter, and performed alongside such comedians as Troy Bond and Clara Olshansky. But enough about me!

Just kidding! I'm not done.

In March of 2024, I graduated from Northwestern University, where I studied Film/TV and U.S. History. At Northwestern, I served as the head writer, director, and general cast member of Mee-Ow Comedy, the nation's longest running student sketch and improv troupe, with notable alumni including Seth Meyers, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ana Gasteyer, Kristen Schaal, Dermot Mulroney, and others. I was also a member and director of The Bix Musical Improv and staff writer for Northwestern Sketch TV.

Professionally, I've interned in TV and Film Development at Littleton Road Productions (The Girl From Plainville, Dr. Death), Castle Rock Entertainment (Seinfeld, When Harry Met Sally), and Kelly Ripa's Milojo Productions. I also dabbled in film PR with a brief stint at a small mom and pop studio called Warner Bros.

Having completed my degree, I plan to pursue a career in entertainment and am really excited to be someone's fun assistant soon.
